By accessing or using HireKit, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
HireKit is an AI-powered job search management platform that helps users track job applications, optimize resumes, and prepare for interviews. We provide tools for document generation, job tracking, and career analytics. HireKit Academy is our integrated learning platform offering AI career training courses, learning paths, and professional certificates.
3. User Accounts
To use our services, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
4. Subscription and Billing
HireKit offers both free and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
5. Free Trial
New users may be eligible for a 7-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start a trial. After the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan unless cancelled. Each user is eligible for one free trial only.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload to HireKit, including resumes, cover letters, and other documents. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process and analyze this content solely to provide our services to you.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise our systems
- Share your account credentials with others
- Scrape or extract data from our platform
- Resell or redistribute our services without authorization
- Use automated systems to access our service beyond normal usage
8. AI-Generated Content
Our service uses AI to generate suggestions, recommendations, and documents. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before using it. We do not guarantee that using our AI features will result in job placement.
9. Academy & Certificates
HireKit Academy provides educational content and issues certificates upon completion of learning paths. Certificates represent completion of coursework and are not professional licenses or accredited degrees. You may share certificates on professional platforms like LinkedIn. Course content is for personal educational use only and may not be reproduced or distributed.
10. Intellectual Property
HireKit and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by HireKit and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
11. Limitation of Liability
HireKit is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support or through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by email or through the service. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
14. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
